Privacy and cookies

Effective July 19, 2026. This notice covers coroslink.com and the CorosLink documentation site.

Who controls the data

CorosLink Contributors operates these sites and decides why visitor data is processed. Contact support@coroslink.com for privacy requests. CorosLink is an independent open-source project. Additional legal or geographic contact details will be published where the law applicable to the project operator requires them.

Data we process

Our hosting provider processes ordinary request data such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the sites. We rely on legitimate interests in reliable and secure service operation for this processing.

If you choose analytics, Vercel Analytics receives page-view and interaction information. The lawful basis is your consent. Analytics is disabled by default and refusing it does not limit the site.

Public supporter information is retrieved by our server from Buy Me a Coffee. Supporter images are served through the site's image proxy, so loading this page does not send your browser directly to Buy Me a Coffee. Release and star information is likewise retrieved server-side from GitHub.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time with “Privacy choices” in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Recipients and transfers

Vercel provides hosting, security, image proxying, and optional analytics. GitHub supplies release metadata, and Buy Me a Coffee supplies public supporter information to our server. These providers may process data outside the EEA. Where required, transfers must use an adequacy decision or safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. The operator must verify and document current provider regions, contracts, and transfer mechanisms.

Retention

The consent preference lasts 180 days unless you replace or delete it. Hosting and security logs are retained only for the periods configured with the provider and needed to investigate reliability or abuse. Analytics retention follows the operator's Vercel configuration. The operator must document the actual configured periods before EU launch.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time and complain to the data protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. We normally respond within one month and may verify your identity.

Changes and questions

We will update the effective date when this notice materially changes. Send privacy questions or rights requests to support@coroslink.com.
